What makes a summer camp fun?
With all the summer camps out there to choose from, have you ever wondered what makes a summer camp in Parkland fun? When we decided to develop our summer camp programs (for children aged 5 to 12), making our summer camp in Parkland fun was one of our top goals.
Nothing is worse than having your children drag their feet off to their summer camp because they feel as if they could be having more fun at home. After a little investigation into the things that make today’s children tick we discovered that the level of enjoyment children feel when attending a summer camp in Parkland is variety of activities on offer. In other words the more things there are to do, the more a summer camp is able to appeal to each individual child’s taste. This is why we really focused on creating a diverse and interest grabbing summer camp in Parkland.
Children who attend our summer camp in Parkland are able to choose from an array of sports and games including soccer, kickball, baseball, and gymnastics. For children who are not entertained by sports there is the arts and crafts area where they can really unleash their imaginations and channel it through various arts and craft orientated projects. Or, for a more cultural outlet, there is the music and movement experience. For the fun loving, adventurous child there are loads of other interest grabbing activities that we make available at our summer camp in Parkland such as water play, bounce house and science and nature.
To encourage a social aspect between children we include activities such as bowling and field trips three times a week to child friendly places. Incorporated into our summer camp programs are trips to well known child favorites like Chuck E. Cheese and water parks. We also add in opportunities for children to explore the IMAX exhibits or to attend the movie theatre with our summer camp in Parkland.
With weekly themes such as a Nick Jr. week (complete with slime!) or American Idol week and contest (were everyone can show off their talents and everyone is a winner) we aim to keep our summer camp in Parkland on the cutting edge of fun, fun and more fun!
